The debate on the 6th December 2012 at 7pm in the McMordie Hall (School of Music, University Square) shall be on the motion that this House believes music died when Elvis arrived. This debate is being held in conjunction with the Queen’s University Symphony Orchestra (QUSO) and the Queen’s Music Society (QMS), and will include speakers from all three societies as well as contributions from academics and special guests.
Come along for what’s sure to be an excellent event!

This debate is the annual Godkin Prize debate for anyone who has not taken part in university-level debating before this year. We’re still welcoming all eligible speakers for the debate who can sign up by emailing literific@qub.ac.uk
