Council Elections
There are eight elected Society Council positions, elections for all of which will take place at the AGM.
Twelve individuals have submitted or received valid nominations.
Four positions (President, Treasurer, Schools Convenor, and Events Officer) will be contested by individuals for whom it is their primary nomination.
Furthermore, one position (Social Officer) may be contested as it is one individual’s secondary nomination.
Three positions (Secretary, Internal Convenor, and External Convenor) have only one primary nomination and are therefore uncontested.
All positions will have Re-Open Nominations listed as an option on the ballot.
Manifestoes for all candidates may be found through this link.
All current members of the Society are strongly encouraged to attend the AGM. Please note, the AGM is formally designated as a Private Meeting of the Society, meaning only fully paid up members are permitted to attend. At his discretion the President may permit attendance of non-members, but will not permit their participation.
