Queen’s Victorious in US Debate

Image

The battle between the two U.S. presidential hopefuls was played out in Queen’s Students’ Union last Wednesday night with two teams of debaters. Four members of the Literific represented Queen’s and President Obama, while four incredibly able speakers from University of Ulster defended Governor Romney.

The event was hosted by the U.S. Consulate and William Crawley was the moderator for the evening. Five MLAs judged the event, and declared Queen’s the winners!

The Literific would like to thank the U.S. Consulate, Connor Daly and QUBSU, the MLAs, William Crawley and most of all the representatives from the University of Ulster for an excellent debate
