On Wednesday we held our charity social, "¿Dónde está Devenney?", and what a night it was! Pints were shared, pool was contested and (eventually) every team managed to see through the President's cunning disguise and track him down in Lavery's. On Tuesday, the Muriel Campbell Subcommittee held its third debate on the motion: This House Supports Universal Childcare. We’re delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for Society of the Year and Best Student-Led Activity at the SU Awards. What the Literific Means to Me: A ‘Lit’ and ‘Terrific’ Society What the Literific Means to Me: A ‘Lit’ and ‘Terrific’ Society ⏰ Thursday at 7pm On Monday we were delighted to host Sam McBride, co-author of For And Against A United Ireland, for a LitTalk in the Canada Room. On Thursday, we held our annual Dufferin Competition for Best Speaker of the House. Thank you to @qubiplawsociety and all the speakers last week who participated in the latest in our Grand Campus Tourney inter-society debating competition.
